The 136660-0003, also known as the Deepsea, is a true masterpiece of horology. It is a timepiece specifically designed for deep-sea divers and professionals who need a reliable and accurate instrument on their wrist while exploring the ocean’s depths.

The case of this watch is made of Rolex’s patented Oystersteel, highly resistant to corrosion and extremely durable. The diameter of the case measures 44mm, making it a perfect fit for most wrist sizes. The case architecture features the unique Ringlock System, designed to withstand extreme pressure at great depths. This system also includes a helium escape valve, allowing any helium that may have entered the watch during deep-sea diving to escape safely.

The bezel of the 136660-0003 is unidirectional and rotatable, with a 60-minute graduated scale, and features a scratch-resistant Cerachrom insert made of ceramic. The numerals and graduations are coated in platinum, providing a stunning contrast against the black background and ensuring legibility in low-light conditions.

The winding crown is screw-down, equipped with the Triplock triple waterproofness system, which ensures the watch is water-resistant to depths of up to 12,800 feet or 3,900 meters. The crystal is made of scratch-resistant sapphire, known for its durability and clarity.
